In case of open source software development, Utkarsh was among the most knowledgeable in his cohort. This made him improve his skills in web development given how much the modern web relies on open-source software. This proved to be great at ISTE back in 2020 when we were organizing our first virtual hackathon which happened during the peak of the pandemic. His knowledge and insight gave clarity to the committee on how to frame the rules for the event, the judgement criteria as well as scope of those entries.
